Saudi Arabia’s Arabian Contracting Services Company, known as Al Arabia, has strengthened its position in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) through its subsidiary, Al Arabia OOH Digital Co. A significant contract was announced between Al Arabia’s UAE unit and Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).

This $142 million agreement marks a strategic intersection of the transportation and advertising sectors and primarily focuses on outdoor advertising.

Dubai’s RTA, a key player in the region’s transport and logistics sector, has entrusted Al Arabia with installing, operating, and maintaining advertising billboards.

The contract spans over a decade, reflecting a long-term investment in Dubai’s transportation infrastructure by the company.

Furthermore, installing and maintaining these billboards will require logistics planning and execution, encompassing transportation, supply chain management, and strategic location selection.

The contract includes deploying 294 billboards, comprising digital and static formats, across locations in Dubai.

The digital billboards represent the convergence of advertising and digital technology, offering dynamic content in high-traffic areas.

The chosen locations for these billboards, including Sheikh Rashid Al Maktoum, Al Khail, Umm Suqeim, and Al Khawaneej roads, represent high-traffic areas that will enhance the visibility of advertisements.

These areas are critical routes in Dubai’s transport network, ensuring maximum exposure to local and international audiences.

The establishment of Al Arabia OOH Digital Company, jointly owned by Al Arabia, Mawaqie for Advertising Company, and an Emirati partner, shows the growing business collaboration in the Middle East.
